Most people look for the open door. I've gotten pretty good at finding the window.

Hi, I'm Regan.

​

I've always been more interested in possibility than precedent, and that instinct has taken me to some unexpected places. It's led me to found programs and businesses, coach Division I athletes, launch a grassroots literacy initiative during a pandemic, collaborate with city agencies and elected officials, and foster orphaned animals. Curiosity is the lens through which I see the world. It has a habit of leading me toward interesting people, impossible problems, and ideas worth building.

I've spent more than fifteen years calling North Brooklyn home, working alongside neighbors, schools, nonprofits, government agencies, and local leaders. The doors have changed. The purpose never has.  At first glance, it might read like a collection of side quests. Looking closer, one thread runs through all of it: find what's missing, bring the right people together, and create opportunities where they didn't exist before.​

I'm drawn to work that's equal parts strategy and humanity. I do my best when the problem is hard and the path isn't obvious. At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: communities become stronger when people feel seen, included, and empowered to help shape what comes next.

I'm energized by ideas that matter, unlikely partnerships, and I'm especially strong when fighting for the underdog—whether that's a child who needs an opportunity, a family navigating a system that wasn't built for them, or a bottle-fed kitten that just needs someone willing to stay up all night.

​

When I believe in the work, I bring everything. I've learned that if the door is closed, there's usually a window.
